- Completed Project
Scissors
Large eye yarn needle
12 inches of matching yarn
Keychain (I prefer to use a lobster claw clasp, split key ring, and an open back bezel ring (14mm from Hobby Lobby is best, found in jewelry making section)
Pattern
- Thread Yarn through tiny hole in bezel ring.
- Insert needle through stitch you want to attach keychain on your project. Pull yarn about 1/2 way through.
- Go back through tiny hole in bezel ring so both yarn ends are on the same side.
- Insert needle through same stitch and weave in 3-4 stitches away and come out. Take needle off thread.
- Thread other end of the yarn.
- Insert needle and weave in yarn tail to match the other end. You want them to go in and come out of the same stitches.
- Tie a double knot with the yarn end, close to project.
- Weave in yarn ends in separate directions, hide ends in Amigurumi.
If you need a visual of what this looks like click here. I did amend the last instruction to weave in tail ends.
